A student at Columbia Law School, ZeSean's education focuses on human rights, polarization of the law, and constitutional and political theory. This summer, he is interning with the Metropolitan Public Defender in Portland. Prior to law school, he coordinated humanitarian aid with the UN in Israel/Palestine and taught negotiation to Harvard undergraduates. ZeSean has previously earned a B.A. in Chemistry from Reed College and an M.T.S. in Ethics, Politics, and Religion from Harvard University. Next summer, he will join the litigation team of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York. He believes that South Asians can and should have a significant voice and impact on the law and legal profession. He hopes to mentor budding lawyers, especially those curious about how the law structures our society, declares our public values, and guarantees protections for the most vulnerable.
